Children’s Workshop Montessori is not a daycare. We are a school. Therefore, our admission policies and procedures more closely reflect those of other independent schools than a traditional daycare.
All prospective parents are required to schedule a tour of our school. These tours are currently being conducted at specific times. To schedule a tour, please reach out to
Admissions@cwmontessori.org or call us at
763-577-4244.
After the Parent Observation, an Application for Admission may be submitted. A non-refundable, $50 application fee, must accompany the application for consideration. If an opening is not available, applications will join other applicants in the wait pool.
Once an Application for Admission is received, the school will contact you to set up a Child Visit, if your child is applying for the Toddler or Children’s House Communities. These visits are typically held at 4:00 p.m. during the school year.
Within a week of the Child Assessment, the school will notify you of our admissions decision. If accepted, you will receive a Tuition Agreement, which must be signed and returned, along with a Materials Fee ($410 for an academic year and $430 for a full year), to secure your child’s placement. If not returned by the designated date, your child’s placement is forfeited.
Upon receipt of the Tuition Agreement and Materials Fee, you will be sent Registration Forms, as required by licensing, that must be completed and returned by the designated date.
When all Registration Forms are returned, you will receive a Phase-In schedule for your child. This is required for all new children. Parents will also receive an Orientation schedule for their “transition.” This is also mandatory for all new parents.
CW will admit students of any race, color, national, and ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs, and activities available to all students of the school. CW does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national/ethnic origin, or religious affiliation in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship awards, and other school-administered programs.
“The staff and the learning environment are incredible--nurturing and professional. Our son is two years old, and he has grown in wonderful ways while at CW. He has learned skills, while also gaining an appreciation for the community.
We feel very fortunate to be enrolled here. CW is among a small number of certified Montessori schools in the area.”
“My two daughters thrive at this school. Highly recommend it. The guides are very good to our children and our children are clearly well taken care of!"
